The Indo-Peruvian Friendship Association (INPEFA)
The Indo-Peruvian Friendship Association (INPEFA) is a non-political, non-profit, non-religious, non-sectarian and a non-commercial organisation whose sole objective is to contribute in the development of warmer and closer cultural relations between India and Peru.
INPEFA, originally established on 1st June 2007, was re-launched on 30th May 2017 to once again provide a common platform for the facilitation of cultural interaction amongst Indians interested in the customs, traditions and arts of Peru, thereby, bringing the two cultures together.
The Association is administered by a Board of eight members: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer and four chairpersons of the board. They will be responsible for organizing the activities of the Association.
The board of INPEFA encourages students, research scholars, opinion makers and distinguished people from all walks of life belonging to the two countries to connect, interact and exchange views so that they can co-operate and collaborate with each other to create greater understanding and appreciate each other’s point of view, thus generating goodwill and friendship.
The cultural activities are held at the premises of the Art Gallery of the Embassy of Peru at 66 Vasant Marg, New Delhi -110057, India. Its activities comprises screening of Peruvian films among other literary discourses including book readings, exhibitions, and workshops on music, dance, history and Peruvian cuisine together with Spanish language classes among other cultural expressions.
All interested corporates and Indian citizens are invited to join hands and put in their efforts to achieve the goal of strengthening cultural relations between the two nations by becoming a member of INPEFA.
